Guinea Fowl - Mikumi National Park- Mikumi Safaris in Tanzania & African Safari
Experience Mikumi Safari in Tanzania Mikumi National Park is located south of Dar es Salaam right on the main Morogoro-Iringa Highway with an approximate travel time of 4½ hours and the first national park stop on the Tanzania southern circuit safari. The word Mikumi has nothing to do with number ten in Swahili, which is kumi but the name comes after a local word for Borassus palm trees referred to as Mikuky. Mikumi was the name given to the villages created by a tribal chief of Wavindunda community with the name of Mtwahela Kikuwi (pronounced mm-twa-hhe-laa Kee-kuu-wee). Mikumi was named as National Park in 1967 and currently has an approximate size of 3230 square kilometers. Driving from Dar es Salaam on the one lane Morogoro-Iringa highway lands you right into Mikumi National Park with clear signs posted about the speed limits making safari guides very cautious about elephants, zebras, and giraffes crossing the highway. Are pharmaceutical companies using African babies as guinea pigs?-Africa Today-02-21-2012
www.presstv.com So the Gates Foundation is giving big bucks to big drug company GSK to develop a vaccine against Africa's number one killer, Malaria. The new not-for-profit malaria vaccine is virtually entirely ineffective without another medicine, whose patent is owned by GSK, resulting in billions of African blood money filling the coffers of big drug companies once again. Never mind big drug company GSK had its reps at the Gates Foundation and big bucks in the form of tax deductible grants are being shelled out to GSK. The really nasty thing about all this is the fact that, once again, big pharmaceutical companies test new drugs on African babies before any such permission is granted for American babies. And all the while one African country, Eritrea, has reduced Malaria mortality by 80% over the last decade, a fact unknown to the supposedly altruistic vaccine industry.

The Revolutionary Pan-Africanist Youth Association of Guinea-Bissau, (AJOPAR), the All-African People's Revolutionary Party, (A-APRP) in Guinea-Bissau, along with PAIGC Party leaders, Congress women and men from the National People's Assembly, South African Ambassador and rep from the Libyan Embassy in Guinea-Bissau held a Press Conference on 11 August to endorse the "Millions for Libya March in Harlem" organized by the Nation of Islam, the December 12th Movement and many historical brother sister organizations. The objective of the Press Conference was to show that around the World, in Africa, and particularly here in Guinea-Bissau, we are together with them. As you can see from the posters on the walls, we are part of the "Millions for Libya March". Together with our sisters and brothers in Harlem, we demand that NATO stop bombing our African sisters and brothers in Libya, Africa! NATO has clearly lost the war this time and Africa has won, yet still we fight. This was not the first time that we have demonstrated for Muammar Al-Qadhafi, the Jamahiriya and People of Libya and against the imperialists NATO terrorist invasion. We were in the streets of Guinea-Bissau in February; at seminars, meetings, and protesting at the UN Building in March; at the French Embassy, the European Union, the abandoned United States Embassy installations in April; in Downtown Bissau in May and since shouting publicly that we are with Muammar Al-Qadhafi, the Jamahiriya and People of Libya ...
